MULTI-USER LICENSE
Allows you to run Pocket VetGo on a single Pocket PC
within
your practice. Each Pocket PC, however, can be shared
by
multiple users. This license includes the following:
Pocket VetGo for the Pocket
PC
This is the application that runs on the Pocket PC and
that
you saw demonstrated at the show.
Pocket VetGo Field Manager License
This is an application that also runs on the Pocket
PC and
allows you to set up and manage your Pocket VetGo data
while
in the field.
Pocket VetGo Mobile Manager License
This is an optional application that runs on the desktop
or
laptop and allows you to set up, synchronize, and manage
data collected from multiple Pocket PCs used in your
practice. |

Pocket VetGo QuickBooks
Pro* Interface
This optional module allows QuickBooks Pro 2003 or better
users to synchronize data between QuickBooks Pro and
Pocket VetGo.
Pocket VetGo AVImark Interface
This optional module allows AVImark Users to synchronize
data
between AVImark and Pocket VetGo.
HARDWARE
Until recently, there was only one hardware solution
available—
namely a Pocket PC having an Xscale processor, 64MB
of
program memory, and operating at a processing speed
of
400 MHz. Recently, however, several companies have introduced
Pocket PCs having 128 MB of RAM, that is, twice the
program
memory capacity. These larger capacity Pocket PCs cost
about 40% more than the 64 MB models. Depending on the
size of your practice, you may want to purchase one
of the
larger capacity Pocket PCs. Typical prices for hardware
is given
below. You can purchase this hardware through us or
at your
local office supply store (Office Depot, Staples, etc).

This is an ideal solution for small mobile practices and
practices that are just starting out.
128
MB Pocket PC (Toshiba 900 series, HP 5500 Series)
This is the recommended solution for most practices.
128 MB Secure Digital (SD) Card
This card is required. It is used to store your practice
data so that it is preserved in the event that your Pocket
PC's battery goes dead.
OPTIONAL 128
MB Compact Flash (CF) Card
This card is optional mbut highly recommended. It allows
you to create and restore backups of your Pocket VetGo
data while on the road.
OPTIONAL Foldable
Keyboard
This optional keyboard is ideal for users wanting to enter
large amounts of data (such as extensive medical notes)
while working in the field.
OPTIONAL Portable Infrared (IR) Printer
We highly recommend the HP 450cBI. It has proven to be
very reliable for our current users. However, you can
use almost any PCL compatible portable printer. |
